Slow Cooker Taco Chicken Recipe
This slow cooker taco chicken recipe is an incredibly easy recipe that is packed full of flavor, and it’s budget-friendly.

An Easy Slow Cooker Recipe
We use the slow cooker all the time at my house, mainly because it’s easy to use and I don’t have to spend much time in the kitchen.
You can throw the chicken and the ingredients into the cooker in the morning, add some rice in the evening, and have dinner shortly after.
I’ve got a picky eater in the house and he loved this recipe. It’s not too strong of a taco flavor, but it added enough to make it delicious.

How To Make The Slow Cooker Chicken Breast Recipe

Start the recipe by adding the cream of chicken soup and broth to a bowl.

Next, add the salt, pepper, and taco seasoning to the bowl and mix well.

Spray the slow cooker with a non-stick spray and add the chicken.

Pour the taco mixture over the chicken and replace the lid. Set the slow cooker on a low temperature and the timer for seven hours.

After seven hours, shred the chicken.
It should shred very easily. It’s so tender that I am able to shred it with two forks.

Pour the rice over the top of the chicken. Pour the water over the rice and make sure that the rice is covered.
Replace the lid and cook for another 45 minutes to one hour, or until the rice is tender.
You can use white rice, which I what I used here, but you can also use Spanish rice, which will give it a little bit more of a spicy flavor.

Thank you!
I have made this Fantasy Fudge for years. My kids tend to love the Rocky Road Fudge I make the best. So one variation is to add small marshmallows and pecan pieces to the plain chocolate Fudge recipe. At Christmas I’ve gotten used to the family’s order for:
Plain
Walnut
Rocky Road
Peanut butter
Mint chocolate
Pecan
It isn’t hard as you can divide 3 recipes in half to make 6 flavors of the fudge.
What a great idea to add those different ingredients. I love the list your family came up with. Thank you for the tips!
