Step-By-Step Instructions

Ground beef and onion seasoning.

Start by adding the ground beef to a Crock Pot. I break it up a little so it will cook evenly. Sprinkle the onion soup mix on top of the beef.

Next, spread the cream of chicken and cream of mushroom soup over the beef.

Place the lid on top of the Crock Pot and cook on the low-temperature setting for eight hours.

After the beef cooks, break it up a little more, give it a good stir, and it’s ready to serve.

How To Serve The Beef

You can serve the beef over rice, noodles, mashed potatoes, or with vegetables. If I am in a hurry, I will heat up some Bob Evans mashed potatoes or Jasmine rice and serve it over one of those. You can also get some precooked noodles, heat them up, and have a delicious pasta meal.

What Sides To Serve

Storage and Reheating

If you have any leftovers, you can store them in an airtight container and refrigerate them. To reheat, put some in a microwave-safe bowl and heat for two to three minutes or until they are hot.

Looking forward to making this recipe. I will be using your homemade cream of chicken soup and have a problem because Campbell’s Healthy Request Cream of Mushroom soup nor any of the Healthy Request soups will be made any more. That is the only store bought soup that I can use because of being highly allergic to MSG – like the Accent flavor enhancer that is added to a lot of processed food. And MSG can put me in the hospital. But – thanks for posting this recipe.

      Hi Kathi,

I think that Kroger Pacific Foods Organic soups don’t have MSG. You might want to check Aldis or Whole Foods. I think they have those soups without MSG. I am not positive, but I think their stuff doesn’t have MSG. Plus, Aldis is so much less expensive and has a lot of organic ingredients. I hope that helps some! But, making it at home is always best.
