Step-By-Step Instructions

Start by adding your rub ingredients to a small bowl and mixing them together.
Next, place the brisket in the slow cooker and pour the rub on top. Rub it on both sides of the beef. Pour the apple cider vinegar on the beef, then, top with your favorite BBQ sauce. Place the lid on top, and cook on the low-temperature setting for 10 hours.
The apple cider vinegar helps create tender meat while it cooks.

Storage and Reheating Instructions
Store any leftovers in an airtight container and keep it refrigerated. To reheat the brisket, place it in an oven-safe baking dish and add a small amount of beef broth. Cover with aluminum foil and bake at 325 degrees for approximately 20 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165 degrees.

I have a question, do you have to put barbeque sauce on it?
You don’t, but it will be a little dryer if it cooks without sauce. I haven’t tried it this way, but you could try some beef broth in the slow cooker. Maybe about 8 ounces to keep the beef moist.
The texture looks perfect! I can’t wait to try this one, Julie!
Thanks! Hope you love it!
Isn’t the star rating based on actually cooking it and tasting it?I noticed one of your friends gave it a 5 star on looks.Thats a phony review in my opinion.
Thanks for your comment—I totally get what you’re saying. Reviews are most helpful when someone’s actually made the recipe. Sometimes folks get excited and rate based on looks or support, but I always encourage honest feedback from those who’ve tried it. I appreciate you pointing it out!
