Step-By-Step Instructions


Add the all-purpose flour, garlic salt, onion powder, salt, and black pepper to a large bowl and whisk to combine. Next, pour in the milk and chicken broth and mix until the lumps are gone.


Next, add the chopped mushrooms to the bowl and mix. Add the butter to a medium-sized saucepan. Melt the butter on medium heat. As soon as the butter melts, add the soup ingredients to the saucepan and whisk. Cook until thick, whisking occasionally. As soon as it thickens, it is done.

Storage
You can eat the soup on its own or add it to a recipe instead of canned condensed soup. Store the condensed mushroom soup in an airtight container in the refrigerator for about one week.
