BBQ Beef Recipe

Grease the slow cooker and add the chuck roast to the pot.

Start by adding ketchup and Worcestershire sauce into a medium-sized bowl.

Next, add the brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, and dried minced onion to the bowl.
You can use fresh onion, but I like the flavor of minced onion. I buy it in the spice section at the grocery store.

Now, add the mustard, liquid smoke, salt, pepper, and chili powder to the bowl and mix well.

Pour the BBQ sauce over the chuck roast and place the lid on the slow cooker. Cook for eight hours on low.

Once the food cooks shred the beef and serve.
If it seems like there’s a lot of liquid, you can take a cup and scoop a little bit of the liquid out of the pot.
You can also put some of the meat in a strainer and strain some of the liquid off before serving.

Side dishes that go well with BBQ beef:
- Homemade potato salad is a great dish to serve with BBQ.
- Copycat Chick-Fil-A coleslaw is a must any time you serve BBQ beef.
- Crock Pot Corn on the cob – grab another slow cooker and let it do the work.
- Moist Jiffy cornbread will be the hit of the side dishes. You gotta try this amazingly moist recipe.

Y’all are gonna need some desserts with this recipe:
- Pineapple lush cake is the perfect refreshing cake for any summer picnic.
- Brownie cake is made with only a few ingredients and it’s a dense, rich, and decadent dessert.
- Cream cheese brownies will be popular on the picnic table – better grab one before they’re gone!
- Southern peach cobbler is another dessert that is perfect alongside BBQ beef sandwiches.
