- 3-4 pound chuck roast
- 1-1/2 cups ketchup
- 2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 Tbsp. minced/dried onion
- 2 Tbsp. mustard
- 1 tsp. liquid smoke
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. pepper
- 1 tsp. chili powder
Grease the slow cooker and add the chuck roast to the pot.
Mix all of the ingredients in a medium-sized bowl and pour over the chuck roast.
Replace the lid on the slow cooker and cook on low for eight hours.
After eight hours, shred the beef and serve. (If there is a lot of liquid in the pot, you can drain some of it off before serving).
