  • Packet of au jus gravy mix
  • Butter
  • Pepperoncini peppers (or if you canโ€™t find them, banana peppers will work).

Ingredients
  

  • 3-4 pound beef chuck roast
  • 1 ounce packet of dry ranch seasoning mix
  • 1 ounce packet of dry au jus gravy seasoning
  • 8 ounces of butter
  • 5-6 pepperoncinis

Instructions
 

  • Spray the Crock Pot with nonstick cooking spray.
  • Add the chuck roast to the Crock Pot and sprinkle with the ranch and au jus seasoning packets.
  • Next, place the pepperoncinis on top of the meat.
  • Place the butter on top.
  • Close the lid and cook on low for eight hours. Once the cooking time is up, shred the meat and serve.

    Can this be cooked in an instant pot? If so about how long for cooking time.

      Hi Linda,

      It can be cooked in an Instant pot. But I am not sure on the time, as I don’t have an Instant Pot. If you put it in the Instant pot, you will need to add a little bit of liquid to the recipe. I hope you enjoy it!
