Don’t get me wrong…I adore a good pumpkin spice latte (those famous psl). That aroma just brings out those warm and fuzzy feelings inside of me, and I can’t help but smile in delight knowing that the holidays are right around the corner.
That means time with family, sharing the love, laughs, and food.

Tools Needed For The Cake
- Electric Mixer
- Mixing bowl
- 9 x 13-inch baking dish
- Nonstick cooking spray
How To Make Pumpkin Cake
- Grease a 9 x 13-inch baking pan with nonstick cooking spray.
- Add the cake mix, eggs, and pumpkin puree to a large mixing bowl and mix well.
- Spread the cake in the pan, and bake for 25-30 minutes.
- Allow the cake to cool and frost.
Start by adding the spice cake mix to a large mixing bowl.
Next, add the eggs to the bowl.
Add the pumpkin puree to the bowl.
Mix the ingredients with an electric mixer until combined.
Spread the pumpkin cake into the greased baking dish. The cake will be very thick, and it will bake pretty much exactly like you spread it.
Bake the cake for about 25-30 minutes. The cake will be done when a toothpick or cake tester comes out clean.
Once the cake cools, you can frost it with your favorite frosting.
An Easy Pumpkin Cake Recipe You Can Count On!
You really can buy happiness…if you buy these three ingredients! Pumpkin flavor is always a great flavor.
The spiced cake mix works best with the pumpkin, though you could try it with yellow cake mix or chocolate cake mix.
Pumpkin puree adds the perfect balance to turn the boxed ingredients into a splendidly textured cake that everyone will think you made from scratch.
Cream cheese frosting goes on top of the cake and brings the whole thing together.
You could also add chocolate chips if you wanted to, especially if you’re going for that chocolate cake mix box…then you’ll have a chocolate pumpkin cake that will be every bit as heavenly in flavor as it sounds.
You can also use your muffin tins rather than cake pans. Turning these into pumpkin cupcakes will make serving a breeze, especially when you’re having a party.
