Beef Dip Recipe: The Perfect Party Dip
If y’all are looking for a way to get those kids to eat their veggies, this Beef Dip Recipe might just be the solution–it’s that good. Made with cream cheese, onions, Worcestershire sauce, and a beef base, it is ready in less than five minutes and is perfect for any party.
My husband, John, has been begging me to make this dip for a long time. He first tried it years ago when his niece and nephew’s mom brought it out. In fact, one of John’s brothers likes it so much he said he could even eat cauliflower with it (a veggie he’s not too fond of).
She’s given us a couple of great recipes that my husband has loved throughout the years.
I love this beef dip recipe because first it’s flavorful, and second it’s super duper easy to make. It only requires a few ingredients, a few minutes, and you’re done.
The dip is made with a combination of a beef base, cream cheese, mayonnaise, Worcestershire sauce, and onions. It really packs in the flavor and people will keep coming back for more dip every time.
Healthy and Delicious
When I made this the other night, my youngest came back for seconds. I love it because it’s a great way to get those veggies in the kids. Plus, you can keep it in a container in the fridge and pull it out any time someone wants a snack. It’s healthy and delicious.

Recipe and printable instructions listed below
Start by adding the softened cream cheese to a bowl.
If you forgot to set the cheese out to soften, you can still use it. You will just need to blend it a little more.
Secondly, you’re going to add the mayonnaise to the bowl.
Mayonnaise adds a lot of flavor to this dip.
Recipes that would be quite sad without mayo:
- Deviled eggs
- Coleslaw
- Onion dip
- Tuna sandwiches
Next, add the diced onions to the mix.
You can chop the onions by hand, but I bought a handy chopper several years ago that makes it easy to chop the onions into much smaller pieces. I’ll leave a link to one in the recipe card below.
For this Beef Dip Recipe, you will need the following:
- A large mixing bowl
- Cream cheese
- Mayonnaise
- Onion
- Salt and pepper
- Worcestershire sauce
- Beef or another type of base
- Platter for vegetables
- Bowl for dipping the beef base
Add the salt and pepper to taste. I used a pinch of both. If you like things a little saltier or with more pepper, just add the amount that you’d like to the mixture after you’ve finished making it.
The next ingredient is Worcestershire Sauce. The sauce is going to add a ton of flavor to this dish. The sauce has a cinnamon, mustard, and vinegar mix, adding a bit of spice and bite to the dip. That will keep people eating more and more.
Finally, add the beef base to the recipe.
For this recipe, I used Better Than Bouillon Organic Roasted Beef Base. The company offers several flavors to choose from including a mushroom, chicken, and vegetable base. They also have low sodium, as well as premium choices such as a fish, clam, ham, or chili base.
So, you have a lot of options to add to this particular dip.
Once all of the ingredients are in the bowl, mix everything together. This beef dip recipe will still have a few lumps from the cream cheese.
Once the dip is mixed together, add it to a dish and start dippin’!
Be sure to refrigerate the dip if you have any leftovers.
