After draining the grease, add the ketchup, mustard, brown sugar, and Worcestershire sauce. Add a pinch of salt and ground black pepper if desired. Place a lid on the skillet and let it simmer for about 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Thanks so much, Debbie! I hope you love it!
My mom always made her sloppy joes with ; onion , celery , ketchup, and yellow mustard . Simple and tasty . Sometimes we would even make it with leftover cooked turkey instead of ground beef . May sound strange , but I suggest you try it .
Such great ingredients! I will have to try it with cooked turkey. Thanks for the idea!

Thanks so much, Debra! I hope you love them!
delicious. Even good heated up for leftovers!!
I am so glad you liked it! Thank you!
I love this super easy recipe! However, I decrease the brown sugar to 1 tsp as I find it too sweet.
I am so glad you love it! You can definitely do that and if still too sweet, you can leave it out altogether. Thanks for sharing!
I halved this recipe for 1 person. Next time I will use less mustard and less catsup. The recipe amount for 1 lb. of hamburger was overpowering. Regardless of that fact, it was very tasty and I will make again after tweaking recipe .
