Did You Know?

Did you know that about a third of all pork in the U.S. comes from Iowa? Most of it stays right here in the United States, feeding families across the nation. It’s all thanks to hardworking family farms. Whenever you eat a pork chop or pulled pork sandwich, you support local folks who pour their heart into what they do. My grandfather was a farmer, and we sure love them around here!

Ingredients

Boneless pork chops – You can use bone-in or boneless for this recipe. Just make sure you get all the bones out before serving.
Pepperoncinis – These are mild and don’t add much spice to a dish.

Step-By-Step Instructions

Add the pork chops to the slow cooker. Sprinkle the au jus gravy and ranch seasoning over the top. Next, add the pepperoncinis and butter. Close the lid and cook it on low for eight hours.

After the pork chops cook, shred them up and serve them over mashed potatoes, veggies, or rice. Once you shred the pork chops, they will continue to soak up the juice in the Crock Pot, which helps keep them tender.

There are so many easy ways to make a delicious pork dinner, and recipes like slow cooker BBQ pork and beans or pork chops with sweet potatoes keep things simple. They take just minutes to prep and always come out hearty, flavorful, and ready to feed a hungry crew.
