Step-By-Step Instructions

Preheat the air fery to 400 degrees. Add the Panko breadcrumbs, paprika, salt, pepper, garlic and onion powder to a medium-sized bowl and mix. Next, pour the buttermilk into another medium-sized bowl and dredge the chicken tenderloins into the liquid one at a time. After dredging in the buttermilk, add them to the Panko mixture and cover.

Next, place the chicken strips into the air fryer, being careful not to crowd them. Cook at 400 degrees for 15 to 17 minutes. Use a digital thermometer to make sure the strips get to 165 degrees in the center. Be sure to flip the chicken strips halfway through cooking.
As the chicken nears the end of the cooking time, you can begin cooking the gravy.
Start your gravy by adding butter to a medium saucepan on medium heat. Once the butter melts, add the flour and whisk. Add the salt and pepper, pour in the chicken broth, and continue to whisk while it thickens. Once it’s thick, add it to a bowl on the side of the chicken strips or pour over them.

Storage And Reheating
Store any leftover chicken strips in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
To reheat, preheat the air fryer to 350 degrees. Place the chicken strips back into the air fryer and reheat for 3-5 minutes, turning halfway through the cooking time. The internal temperature should reach 165 degrees.
