What I Love About This Recipe

  • The recipe is a cinch to make.
  • We used some rub and BBQ sauce from Out Grilling on the ribs that added out-of-this-world flavor. (This is not a sponsored post we just love their products so much)!
  • This is great for grilling any time of year.

How To Make The BBQ Ribs

  1. Pull the skin off the pork ribs.
  2. Preheat the gas grill to 300 degrees.
  3. Start by adding the Apple cider vinegar, water, Worcestershire sauce, and ketchup to a small bowl and mix well.
  4. Next, sprinkle the rub on both sides of the ribs and rub it in. Place the ribs meat side down in a casserole dish. We used a disposable aluminum foil dish.
  5. Pour the liquid into the dish, around the ribs, and cover it with aluminum foil. Add the casserole dish to the grill and grill the ribs on 300 degrees for 1 hour and 50 minutes.

5. After grilling, remove the ribs from the pan and place them meat side up directly on the gas grill.
6. Spread the BBQ sauce on top of the ribs and cook another 10 minutes without flipping.
7. Serve!

The ribs turned out so tender and delicious and were truly fall-off-the-bone good. We love the rub and BBQ sauce. It has such a rich great flavor. We’ve used it for other recipes in the oven and the smell is amazing!

Ingredients

  • 3 pounds pork spare ribs skin removed
  • 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 Tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1/4 cup Out Grilling Sweet BBQ Rub
  • 1/4 to 1/2 cup Out Grilling Sweet and Tangy BBQ Sauce

Instructions

  • Peel the skin off of the pork ribs and place them in a heat-safe casserole dish. I used a 9×13-inch disposable aluminum dish.
  • Heat the grill to 300 degrees.
  • Add the apple cider vinegar, water, Worcestershire sauce, and ketchup to a bowl and mix well.
  • Sprinkle the rub on both sides of the ribs and rub it in. Place them meat-side down in the aluminum dish.
  • Pour the marinade into the dish. Cover with aluminum foil and place the dish on the grill. Cook in the dish on the grill for 1 hour and 50 minutes.
  • After 1 hour and 50 minutes, take the ribs out of the dish and place them directly on the grill meat side up.
  • Brush the BBQ sauce on the ribs and cook another 10 minutes and serve.

Notes

The meat will stay nice and tender inside of the dish covered with aluminum foil. The liquid will cook off some, but not all the way.
