How To Make The Beef And Gravy

Start by slicing the onions and placing them at the bottom of the Crock Pot. Next, add the beef and onion soup mix to a bowl. Combine the two ingredients and then shape the beef into patties. I made four large patties, but you can make more smaller ones.

Place the burgers inside of the Crock Pot on top of the onions. Sprinkle the gravy packet on top of the beef and then pour the broth over the burgers.

Spread the condensed soups over the beef. Place the lid on top and cook at a high temperature for five hours or a low temperature for eight hours. Once the time is up, stir the ingredients.
TIP: If you have grease at the top, you can use a turkey baster to squeeze it out and remove it.
Serve over mashed potatoes or rice.

How To Store And Reheat The Crock Pot Beef and Gravy Dinner
If you have any leftovers, you can store them in an airtight container and refrigerate them.
To reheat the dinner, place the food on a microwave-safe plate and heat for two to three minutes in the microwave until it’s hot.

I’m giving this 5 stars before I even make it, which I fully intend to do, because I can smell it and taste it already! Serving it with potatoes or rice is a great idea, but I can also see it on top of a mound of good old Stove Top!!!
Thank you for yet another easy and delicious recipe!
You’re so sweet Barb! Thank you! I hope you love it and what a great idea to add it on top of Stove Top!
looks and sounds wonderful and super easy.,, good for busy days
Thanks, Marybeth! We love this dish here and eat it often!
I think I would use cream of mushroom soup instead of the chicken. Also I would add some canned mushrooms and stems.
Fantastic idea! Those are great additions!
Instead of hamburg, I would use a chuck roast with all the same ingredients, possibly cook a little longer. Had it this way at a restaurant and it was so tender, moist, and delicious! YUM,YUM. Just a suggestion, though!!
That is a fantastic suggestion! Nothing better than tender roast!
Fantastic. We raise beef and THIS is a keeper! Delish!! Thank you!!😊

Oh I love that you raise beef! So glad you are here and thank you!
I’m testing out easy recipes that we can make while camping; I’ll definitely put this on rotation! I imagine I could prep and freeze the meat, and let it thaw overnight. The rest of the ingredients are pantry staples. I used cream of garlic and herb soup, added a jar of marinated grilled mushroom, and subbed beef better than bullion and beer for the broth. I only got one serving for myself, he devoured the rest!

You can definitely freeze the meat and let it thaw. That will save time. Your additions sound fantastic! Thanks for sharing so we can all try!
I didn’t have any onion soup mix. So I added a little taco seasoning
How did you like it? That’s a great alternative!
