Hi y’all! Welcome back to Foodie Friday Link Party #33.

I hope you’re all having a good week so far. I am ready for the weekend. My husband, John, took my oldest son (also John) camping last weekend and they had a great time. I stayed home with my younger son, Ethan, and we had a fun time together.

We went to the movies, ate ice cream at every turn, walked around the mall, and went to Chili’s at 9 p.m. at night! We lived right on the edge. And, we loved every minute of it. 

This was the first chance I had to spend time with my younger son for the entire weekend! We were both sad to see it end, but we were happy when the two Johns were back home.

We didn’t fix a thing while they were gone, but we did see all of the wonderful recipes that were posted here on Back To My Southern Roots. 

I’m excited to share the featured ones and see what is in store for this coming week!
