How To Make The Casserole

Start by adding some spaghetti sauce to the bottom of a casserole dish. Add the ricotta, Italian seasonings, salt, and pepper in a glass bowl and mix well.

Line the bottom of the casserole dish with cheese ravioli. Then add half of the ground beef and ricotta cheese and spread it out.

Pour some of the spaghetti sauce over the top of the meat and spread it out. Sprinkle half of the mozzarella cheese over the sauce (I forgot to do it in this picture).

Line with a second row of cheese ravioli over the sauce. Then, add the rest of the meat and ricotta cheese and spread it out. Top with the remainder of the sauce and sprinkle the rest of the mozzarella cheese on top.

Cover with aluminum foil and bake the lasagna for 30 minutes at 350 degrees. After that, remove the foil and bake for another 30 minutes.

Notes

You can use frozen ravioli for this recipe, but it will end up making the dish a little more liquidy.

  1. What great photos – I can almost taste it thru the screen! Look at that burnt cheese, gorgeous! Can’t wait to make this this winter – sounds perfect the way it is, but I’ll add mushrooms, green peppers, & black olives because I’m a gourmand. Plus I’ll use basil & oregano vs Italian seasoning because I don’t love the rosemary in the seasoning. Thank you for this recipe!!
