The perfect pancake recipe doesn't include buttermilk, but tastes amazing. The pancakes are super easy to make and are perfect for those lazy weekend mornings.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups of all-purpose flour
  • 3 1/2 teaspoons of baking powder
  • 1 Tablespoon of sugar
  • 1 1/4 cups of milk
  • 2 Tablespoons of melted butter
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract

Instructions

  • Preheat your griddle or skillet to medium heat.
  • Add the flour, baking powder, and sugar to a large mixing bowl and whisk together.
  • Create a well in the center of the dry ingredients.
  • Next, add the milk, melted butter, egg, and vanilla extract to a small bowl and mix well.
  • Pour the wet ingredients into the well in the dry ingredients and mix well.
  • Add some butter to the hot skillet or griddle and pour some pancake batter over the butter.
  • Cook the pancakes until they begin to bubble, and then flip them over and cook for a few minutes.
  • Serve
