Slow cooker creamy, cheesy chicken is a comforting dish all rolled into one. It's a family favorite--especially those picky eaters--and you only need a few minutes to prep it.

Ingredients

  • 4 chicken breasts boneless and skinless
  • 1 Tablespoon minced onion
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon parsley
  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • ½ cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 Tablespoon corn starch OPTIONAL

Instructions

  • Add the chicken to the slow cooker.
  • Next, sprinkle the minced onion, garlic powder, rosemary, parsley, and oregano over the chicken.
  • Pour in the heavy cream and chicken broth. Place the lid on top of the slow cooker and cook for 7-1/2 hours.
  • After 7-1/2 hours, sprinkle the parmesan cheese on top and cook another 30 minutes.
  • Finally, take out the chicken and serve, or shred and serve.
  • OPTIONAL at 7 hours and 30 minutes: If you want to make the liquid thicker, dip out one cup, mix it with the tablespoon of cornstarch, pour it back into the slow cooker, and cook for 30 more minutes.
