Seasoning
- 2 teaspoons garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
- 1-1/2 teaspoons black pepper
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
- 2 Tablespoons olive oil
- 4 boneless thick cut pork chops
Prepare the seasonings by adding salt, pepper, paprika, chili powder, onion powder, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning to a small bowl and mix.
Dry off the pork chops with a paper towel and rub the seasonings all over.
Preheat the skillet to medium-high heat and add the olive oil.
Place the pork chops in the skillet and cover with the lid. Cook for five minutes.
Flip the pork chops, replace the lid, and cook another five minutes.
Check the pork chops with a digital thermometer by sliding it into the center. When the pork chops reach 145 degrees they are done cooking.
Let the pork chops rest for three to five minutes and serve.
