Ingredients

Seasoning

  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1-1/2 teaspoons black pepper
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
  • 2 Tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 boneless thick cut pork chops

Instructions

  • Prepare the seasonings by adding salt, pepper, paprika, chili powder, onion powder, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning to a small bowl and mix.
  • Dry off the pork chops with a paper towel and rub the seasonings all over.
  • Preheat the skillet to medium-high heat and add the olive oil.
  • Place the pork chops in the skillet and cover with the lid. Cook for five minutes.
  • Flip the pork chops, replace the lid, and cook another five minutes.
  • Check the pork chops with a digital thermometer by sliding it into the center. When the pork chops reach 145 degrees they are done cooking.
  • Let the pork chops rest for three to five minutes and serve.
