Ingredients

  • 1-1/2 cups packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter melted
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1-1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 12 oz. chocolate chips

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350-degrees and grease a 11" x 7" casserole dish.
  • Pour the melted butter into a bowl.
  • Add the brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla and blend well with a mixer.
  • Next, add the flour, salt, and baking powder and mix well.
  • Finally, add the chocolate chips and mix in with your spatula.
  • Pour into a greased 11" x 7" casserole dish (you can also use 13" x 9")
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes or until cake tester comes out clean.
  • Cool and cut into bars.
