Easy and Healthy Breakfast Quiche Recipe

Healthy breakfast quiche is a great recipe that is perfect for weekends or reheating during the week.

Ingredients

  • 9- inch frozen pie crust
  • 4 eggs beaten
  • 1 cup pre-cooked turkey sausage
  • 1/2 cup frozen hash browns
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup veggies diced
  • 1 cup milk
  • Pinch salt
  • Pinch black pepper

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350-degrees.
  • Line a cookie sheet with aluminum foil and place frozen pie crust on top.
  • Add the turkey sausage, hash browns, veggies, and cheddar cheese to the crust and toss gently to mix.
  • In a mixing bowl, add the eggs, salt, and pepper and mix.
  • Add the milk to the eggs and mix.
  • Gently pour the egg mixture to the crust and stir.
  • Bake for 45 to 50 minutes or until the top and edges are golden brown.
  • Serve.

Notes

If you want to make a gluten-free quiche, leave the crust out of the recipe and bake the crustless quiche in a 9-inch pie dish.
Another option while preparing is to pre-mix all of the ingredients in a large mixing bowl and then gently pour them into the crust.
Use a pie shield if the edges of your pie are browning too much while baking.
