Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup salted butter melted
  • 3 Tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 Tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 1-1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 12 ounces semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350-degrees.
  • Prepare a baking sheet and cover with parchment paper.
  • In a large bowl, add the melted butter, vegetable oil, unsweetened cocoa, white sugar, brown sugar and mix well.
  • Next, add the eggs and mix.
  • Add the flour, baking powder, and salt and mix well.
  • Add the chocolate chips and stir until combined.
  • Refrigerate for 30 minutes.
  • Scoop dough (about 1-1/2 to 2-inch balls) onto a cookie sheet and bake for 10 minutes.
  • Allow the cookies to cool a few minutes before moving over to a cooling rack.
