Cake
- 1 - 15.25 oz. box chocolate cake mix
- 1 - 18 oz. box brownie mix
- 1-1/4 cups water
- 1 cup vegetable oil
- 4 eggs
Chocolate icing
- 1-1/4 cups powdered sugar
- 3 Tbsp. unsweetened cocoa powder
- 2 Tbsp. melted butter
- 2 Tablespoons heavy cream or warm water
- 1-1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
Brownie Cake
Preheat the oven to 350-degrees and grease a bundt cake pan.
Start by adding the box cake and brownie mixes to a large bowl.
Add the vegetable oil, water, and eggs and mix well with an electric mixer on medium speed.
Pour batter into the prepared pan and bake for approximately 55 minutes, or until a cake tester comes out clean.
Chocolate Icing
Add the powdered sugar and unsweetened cocoa to a medium-sized bowl.
Next, add the melted butter, vanilla extract, and water, and mix until well blended.
Pour over the cooled cake.
TIP: Start by adding two tablespoons of heavy cream to the icing. If the icing is too thick, add more heavy cream to thin the recipe.
You can use warm water instead of heavy cream, if desired.
