BLT Sliders with Hawaiian Rolls

- 1 package Hawaiian Rolls original (12 rolls in a package)
- 2 tablespoons butter melted
- 8-10 slices of bacon fully cooked and broken into pieces
- 1 cup green leaf lettuce chopped
- 2 medium tomatoes thinly sliced
- ⅓ cup mayonnaise
- Dash salt and pepper
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.
Slice the Hawaiian rolls in half and place on a baking sheet face up.
Brush the melted butter over the rolls using a silicone brush.
Add to the oven and lightly toast for five minutes or until the rolls begin to brown. Remove and allow to cool slightly.
Using a butter knife, spread the mayonnaise evenly over the inside of both the top and bottom rolls.
Now add the bacon, lettuce and tomato to the bottom side of the rolls.
Sprinkle a little salt and pepper over the tomatoes then add the tops of the rolls.
Cut into individual sliders and serve.
- Best served at room temperature.
- Best consumed immediately. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 1-2 days but may become soggy.
- Toasting the bread is optional.
- Substitute another type of lettuce or tomato if desired.
- Add extra bacon to the sliders for even more crunch!
- Cook your bacon in the oven to save time and ensure it cooks evenly. Heat the oven to 375 degrees, line a baking sheet with foil, add the bacon, and cook for 15-20 minutes or until crispy.
