Ingredients

  • 2 pounds ground beef
  • 15 ounce can Sloppy Joe sauce
  • 16.3 ounce can Pillsbury Grands Southern Homestyle Biscuits generic will also work
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • Pinch of salt and pepper

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  • Cook the ground beef in a large skillet on medium heat. Add a pinch of salt and pepper. Drain the grease.
  • Add the Sloppy Joe mix and combine.
  • Cut the biscuits into quarters. I used a pizza cutter to make it easier and faster.
  • Next, add one cup of shredded cheese and mix well.
  • Add the biscuit dough and mix until they are covered.
  • Spread into the casserole dish and sprinkle the remainder of the cheese on top.
  • Bake for 30 minutes and serve.
