- 2 pounds ground beef
- 1 tablespoon minced onion
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- 12 ounces egg noodles
- 16 ounces beef OR chicken broth + more if needed
- 1½ cups heavy cream
- 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
Add the ground beef, minced onion, and minced garlic to a large skillet and cook on medium heat.
Drain the grease.
Add the egg noodles, broth, and heavy cream and mix. Cover with a lid and cook for 10 minutes or until the noodles are tender.
Add the shredded cheese and stir until melted.
If the noodles are not tender after cooking for 10 minutes, you can add more broth to the skillet.
Optional Substitute: Use 1% or 2% milk for less fat instead of heavy cream.
