Valentine's Day Blondies Recipe

White chocolate chip blondies are a delicious dessert any time of year. You can add different colored candies for each holiday.

Ingredients

  • 1-1/2 cups packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter melted
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1-1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/3 cup white chocolate candies
  • 1/3 cup pink chocolate candies
  • 1/3 cup red chocolate candies
  • 1/3 cup white chocolate chips

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350-degrees.
  • Pour the melted butter into a bowl.
  • Add the brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla and blend well with a mixer.
  • Next, add the flour, salt, and baking powder and mix well.
  • Finally, add the chocolate candies and white chocolate chips and mix in with your spatula.
  • Pour into a greased 11" x 7" casserole dish (you can also use 13" x 9")
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes or until cake tester comes out clean.
  • Cool and cut into bars.

Notes

Optional ingredients:
  • Broken up Hershey Bars
  • Macadamia nuts
  • Dark chocolate
  • White chocolate bars broken up into chunks
  • Peanut butter chips
  • Butterscotch chips
You can either grease the pan or line it with parchment paper. If you use parchment paper it will be easy to lift the blondies out after they cool.
