Smores In the Oven (S'mores Bars)
Smores in the Oven, or S'mores Bars, are such an easy dessert to make. We all love eating S'mores around a campfire, but now you can make them at home in the kitchen. This Smores dessert recipe is rich, decadent, and totally worth baking.

Crust
- 3/4 cup melted butter
- 2 cups crushed graham crackers about 1-1/2 sleeves
Cookie Dough Layer
- 1 cup sugar
- 1-1/4 cups brown sugar
- 3/4 cup melted butter
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 3 eggs
- 3 cups flour
- 2-1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 cup mini marshmallows
Toppings
- 2 to 2-1/2 Hershey Bars break up pieces of Hershey bars
- 1 large handful of Cinnamon Toast Crunch Cereal
- 1/2 cup mini marshmallows
Preheat oven to 325-degrees. Grease a 9" x 13" baking dish.
Crust
Melt the butter in the microwave for about one minute.
Crush the graham crackers in the Cuisinart or in a large baggie.
Pour both the graham crackers and the butter into the greased baking dish. Stir until the graham crackers are covered with butter.
Press into the bottom of the pan and place in the refrigerator or freezer for a few minutes.
Cookie Dough Layer
In a large bowl, add the sugar, brown sugar, melted butter, and vanilla. Mix together.
Add the eggs and mix.
Next, add the flour, baking powder, and salt and mix well.
Finally, add the chocolate chips and mini marshmallows and mix well.
Spread the cookie dough on top of the graham cracker crust.
Toppings
Sprinkle the mini marshmallows on top.
Sprinkle the Cinnamon Toast Crunch on top.
Finally, add the Hershey chocolate bar pieces to the top.
Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until cake tester comes out clean. If the top seems like it is getting pretty brown, lower the temperature to 300-degrees and check with cake tester or thin knife every five minutes.
Allow the bars to cool for at least 30 minutes.
