Slow Cooker Sloppy Joes

Slow cooker sloppy joes are the ultimate comfort food, perfect for busy weeknights or lazy weekends. With just a few simple ingredients and a little bit of effort, you can have a delicious meal that's sure to please the whole family.

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds ground beef uncooked
  • 1 Tablespoon minced onion
  • 1 cup ketchup
  • cup mustard
  • 2 Tablespoons brown sugar
  • 2 Tablespoons Worcesterhire sauce
  • pinch salt optional
  • pinch ground black pepper optional

Instructions

  • Add the raw ground beef to the slow cooker and break it up some.
  • Next, add the minced onion, ketchup, mustard, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper and mix everything well.
  • Place the lid on top of the slow cooker and cook on the low temperature setting for 8 hours.
  • Stir and serve on buns.

Notes

If you want to cook for a shorter time, add cooked ground beef instead of raw. Cook on the high setting for four hours. 
I didn’t have any grease in my Crock Pot after cooking. If you do have a little extra grease after cooking, you can take a turkey baster and squeeze some of it out.
