- 2 pounds stew meat
- 4 Russett potatoes peeled and diced
- 12 ounces frozen mixed vegetables
- 1 onion diced (white onion)
- 1 teaspoon minced garlic
- ⅓ cup Worcestershire sauce
- 6 ounces tomato paste
- 14 ounce can of stewed tomatoes undrained
- 4 cups beef broth
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup water if needed
Add the stew meat to the slow cooker.
Peel and dice the potatoes and add them to the cooker.
Next, add the onions, minced garlic, frozen vegetables, and tomato paste.
Add the can of stewed tomatoes, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, broth, and water to the slow cooker and stir to combine.
Place the lid on top and cook on the low temperature setting for 10 hours or until the meat is tender.
If you still need some liquid after pouring in the beef broth, add some water to the slow cooker. You want all of your ingredients to be covered with liquid while they cook.
If the meat is not tender after 10 hours, cook it on high for one more hour or until the meat is tender.
