Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter softened
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 1-1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 12 ounces semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.
  • Add the butter and the peanut butter to a large bowl and cream.
  • Pour the white and brown sugar into the bowl and mix.
  • Next, add the eggs and vanilla extract and mix.
  • Add the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt to the bowl and mix.
  • Pour the chocolate chips into the bowl and mix.
  • Refrigerate for 30 minutes.
  • Scoop the cookies onto the baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are light golden brown.

Notes

I usually leave the cookies on the cookie sheet for a few minutes after baking.
After a few minutes, you can transfer them to a wire rack to cool off.
