- 1/2 cup butter softened
- 1 cup creamy peanut butter
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- 1-1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 3/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 12 ounces semi-sweet chocolate chips
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.
Add the butter and the peanut butter to a large bowl and cream.
Pour the white and brown sugar into the bowl and mix.
Next, add the eggs and vanilla extract and mix.
Add the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt to the bowl and mix.
Pour the chocolate chips into the bowl and mix.
Refrigerate for 30 minutes.
Scoop the cookies onto the baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are light golden brown.
I usually leave the cookies on the cookie sheet for a few minutes after baking.
After a few minutes, you can transfer them to a wire rack to cool off.
