- 15.25 ounce box of cake mix
- 1/2 cup of vegetable oil
- 3 eggs
- 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract
- 12 ounces of semi-sweet chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 350 degrees and grease an 8-inch by 8-inch baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
Add the cake mix to a mixing bowl.
Next, add the vegetable oil, eggs, and vanilla extract and mix.
Finally, add the chocolate chips and mix with a spatula.
Spread the brownie batter into the baking dish and bake for 25 to 30 minutes.
For this recipe, I used Betty Crocker Super Moist Chocolate Fudge Cake Mix.
The inside of the brownies will be gooey.
Tips
- Don’t over-mix the batter, just combine the ingredients, or your brownies will turn out tough.
- Grease the baking dish well to prevent the brownies from sticking. Or, grease it and line it with parchment paper.
- Let the brownies cool completely before slicing them, or they’ll fall apart.
