Homemade Alfredo Sauce

Homemade Alfredo sauce is easy to make and tastes better than sauce from a jar. The recipe is a rich and delicious one.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter 1 stick
  • 2 cups heavy whipping cream
  • 4 oz. cream cheese
  • 1 tsp. Italian seasonings
  • 1 tsp. garlic salt
  • 1-1/2 cups grated parmesan cheese
  • Pinch salt and pepper

Instructions

  • Melt the butter in a medium-sized saucepan.
  • Add the heavy whipping cream and cream cheese.
  • Melt the ingredients while stirring.
  • Next, add the Italian seasonings, garlic salt, salt, and pepper and mix.
  • Add the parmesan cheese and stir until well blended.
  • Simmer for 5 minutes. Stir occasionally.
  • Add to your meal or keep in a glass jar in the refrigerator.
