Ground Beef and Rice Casserole

This easy-to-make ground beef and rice casserole is the ultimate comfort food dinner. The one-pot hearty meal is great for those busy nights and turns out flavorful and delicious every time.

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds ground beef
  • 1 ounce packet of onion soup and dip mix
  • 10.5 ounce can of cream of condensed chicken soup
  • 10.5 ounce can of cream of condensed cheese soup
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • cups instant rice
  • 1 cup chicken or beef broth
  • cups shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  • Add the ground beef and onion soup mix to a large skillet and brown on medium heat. Drain the grease.
  • Next, add the can of soups and sour cream and mix.
  • Pour the broth into the skillet.
  • Add the rice and 2 cups of shredded cheese and mix everything well.
  • Pour the beef mixture into the greased baking dish and top with the remainder of the shredded cheese.
  • Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 45 minutes.
  • Remove the foil and bake another 10-15 minutes.
