Funeral Potatoes
Funeral potatoes are one of the best potato dishes out there. The cheesy hashbrown casserole is a delicious recipe and a comforting side dish.

- 32 ounce bag hash brown potatoes
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 - 15 ounce can cream of of chicken soup
- 2 cups sour cream
- 1 teaspoon minced onion seasoning
- 3 cups Corn Flakes
- 1 stick butter melted
- Pinch of salt and black pepper
Preheat oven to 350 degrees and grease a 13" x 9" casserole dish.
Add the cubed potatoes to a large bowl.
Next, add the cheddar cheese, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, onion seasoning, salt, and pepper to the bowl.
Mix everything together well and pour into the casserole dish.
Bake for 20 minutes and remove from the oven.
Sprinkle the Corn Flakes on the top of the potatoes.
Melt the butter and pour over the Corn Flakes.
Return to the oven for 20 minutes.
Break up the frozen potatoes while still in the bag. I usually take the palm of my hand and gently hit the bag to break them up.
They will be easier to stir when combining the ingredients.
