- 4 Tablespoons of butter
- 1/4 cup of all-purpose flour
- Pinch of salt and ground black pepper
- 2 cups of turkey broth
- 1 Tablespoon of Worcestershire Sauce
- Canned chicken broth if needed
Strain liquid through the top of a fat separator. (I used liquid from a turkey I cooked in the Crock Pot).
Add the butter to a medium saucepan and melt on medium heat.
Next, add the flour and whisk the two ingredients together. It will be lumpy.
Pour in the liquid from the fat separator and whisk until the lumps are gone.
Boil the gravy on medium to medium-high heat, stirring often.
Continue stirring until the gravy thickens, and serve.
If the gravy gets too thick, add a little more liquid. If it is not thick enough, add a small amount of flour and stir to thicken. Cook a little longer.
If you need more liquid, you can use chicken broth.
