Amazingly Delicious and Easy Homemade Hot Fudge Pudding

Ingredients

  • 1 cup flour
  • 2 Tbsp. cocoa
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 2 tsp. baking powder
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 Tbsp. shortening
  • 1 cup chopped nuts optional

Topping

  • 2 Tbsp. cocoa
  • 4 Tbsp. brown sugar
  • 2 cups hot water

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350-degrees.
  • Mix the flour, cocoa, salt, baking powder, and sugar.
  • Add the milk and shortening and mix well.
  • Pour into greased 9" x 9" pan.
  • In a small bowl mix the brown sugar and cocoa.
  • Pour over the top.
  • Pour 2 cups water over the top (do not mix the water in - let it sit on top).
  • Bake for 40 minutes.
  • Scoop into a bowl and add some ice cream!
